    To continue my "Pro" series: https://github.com/MissyMelissa/playerblips-pro

    Playerblips resource for GTA Network servers that provides good-looking blips on the minimap for players.

    This will provide a numbered blip if there are multiple players in a vehicle, as well as special blip sprites for special vehicles like tanks and jets.

    It also works about a few bugs that are present for now, so that all player blips will be on the correct positions.

    If you have colorednames installed, the player blips will be colored like in the screenshots above.

    Looks amazing, but is there a way to show blips for only certain player?

    What do you mean? Do you mean for teammates and such in team deathmatch modes?

    That's not a bad idea! I'll have to think about it, considering these blips also need to support proper dimensions.

    Do you actually have to do this

    PHP:
    if (blip.position.DistanceTo(player.position) >= 2.0f) {
    blip.position player.position;
    }
    Could you somehow assign blip to player itself and it would change the blip position automatically?

    Instead of doing
    PHP:
    var newBlip API.createBlip(player.position);
    You would write like
    PHP:
    Blip b API.createBlip(player.handle);

    Yes, best case scenario that would work. In this case, no. There is (was?) a bug with the entity streamer where entities would never stream out. This would cause attaching blips to entities to always be shown at 0,0,0 because they simply don't exist (this is the same problem in the original playerblips resource).

    The >= 2.0f is just so that we don't send the position every single tick (which produces totally unnecessary bandwidth).

    Okay thanks for you answer, so basically, if there wasn't any bug with the entity streamer, attaching blip direct to player.handle would be much simpler and we wouldn't have to deal with positions at all if I understand correctly
