GTA Network goes Closed BETA! GTA Network Closed Beta Client files will soon be officially available to download to select community members. The released archives contain the necessary files to access, play and further develop your own scripts as well as playing on the available servers. Publicly announced on December 6th, 2016. It's Christmas time again, the time of hopes, joys, and forgiveness. It's the time that brings joy to every shelter and the time for us to cheer you up with the thing that many have been waiting for a long time now so, with a great joy and relief we are very pleased to officially announce the beginning of GTA Network’s most awaited release cycle. During this period of time, select server developers will be granted the access to the client & server files, and the ability for your server to show up on the master server. This should last about 2 weeks till the client will be available to everybody. In order to get your server whitelisted, everyone is welcomed to submit a thread about their Server and its development in the Server Advertisements section or send one of the Admins a private message. The servers that we see potential in will most likely be granted access to the beta. The conditions required to be granted the permission are: Established and organized communities with a solid development team. A promised solid development progress throughout the cycle. The servers that will not tend to progress with the development as promised in their documented program will be notified before removal from the masterlist. The sole purpose of this decision in this release cycle is to test GTA Network’s Platform capabilities as well as letting developers progress on their gamemodes so they can be ready to open on release. That said, we are always looking for developers to help out on the project. If you are interested, please contact Guad. Thanks to all of you, we have been able to move forward with the development, the amount of support and feedback we have received have warmed us up through the hard times, it’s now our turn to give you all that back with this release. We encourage everyone to contribute to the Wiki as much as possible, you cannot imagine how much your contribution matters to us. We hope you will enjoy the alternative multiplayer experience, the way it should have originally been.
